connect bluetooth adapter to phone ? Answered

Hi guys  so i've watched this video it's about how to increase bluetooth range ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwKWOdOHiWY ) and i want to connect it to my android phone 'Note 4' via OTG USB so can i do that ?

If your phone has OTG enabled, yes, possibly, but I suspect not on a stock ROM, you'll have to unlock it, and then it might work.

Not all devices support OTG in the device you buy from the moble operator.

Most devices (like the Note 4) have the HARDWARE, but its disabled by the operator. To make the hardware work you may have to reprogram the internal ROM from "Stock" - ie what the mobile operator sold you to a "3rd party" ROM, like Cyanogen mod.

OTG requires that your PHONE provides power to the external device, something they are not supplied to do, so the usual hack is to make a USB cable with a battery in the system.
