disk rom to ram Answered

Hello, I know it is illegal to rip a disk, but when a disk is processed, and it is decrypted, and put onto ram. So, how is that any different from using cleanrip, and having it stored to a ram disk (not harddrive). It is rom to ram action just like a console.

Just for the fun of it:

It does not matter how you copy and onto what kind of media - if it is copyright protected you are already doing illegal things.
And what you need to copy a WII game is explained in excess in any WII forum, so why not just start there or at least use Google first?

I found open-source games to run. That is something people can say is legal for sure.

As I understand it - in the Uk at least it would be legal to make a copy for your own use. Essentially a backup.

I don't see the importance of the media that copy is made to.

things may be different where you are.
