how to have multible input sources to one light Answered

i am thinking of having 3 led's powered by  a dynamo which i have ready constructed but my main query is how would i be able to add a secondary power source to trickle charge the batteries, i am going to use just a cheap pound land solar panel but would i need any other components to be able to have the solar power charging it during the day but then the wind up generator for when its ark or when i need it

You may also want to run the current through a cheap regulator. Like the 7800 series. Just pick the correct one (output voltage) for your application. Or an adjustable 317T regulator. I am not following what kind of solar cell / panel you are using but solar panels put out quite a bit more voltage than the are rated at with no load or a small load. 12 volt panels can put out over 17 volts. So regulating the output is usually a good idea. Dc to Dc converters are better but tha is a little more costly.

connect the solar cell in PARALLEL with the battery.

Splice the solar panel in line with the battery . Make sure you have a protection diode so the power can only flow from the panel to the battery and not from the battery to the panel.
