how to reduce current ? Answered

We designed a circuit . But it is drawing 70mA of current. I want tot reduce it for atleast 30-40mA.

Put this simple circuit into the wire and it will reduce the current to 30 ma...

Your entire circuit must be less then 35 VDC and you may need to use a TO-220 size LM317 regulator if the small TO-92 gets too hot.

Without a circuit diagram there is no specific advice that I can offer.

If it's drawing 70mA of current then it is using 70mA of current. To reduce it you need to reduce the load. For example, if this is an LED circuit then you will need to remove an LED.
