It doesn't meet the contest criteria. Should have done it right the first time, instead of being "clever."

but then why did i get this email Hi Don,t try this at home, Your entry 'Deep fried Hershey bar' for the 'Stuff on a Stick Contest' has been accepted. The contest closes on Aug 22, 2010. 12:00 AM. Congratulations, your Instructable has met the requirements to enter the Stuff on a Stick Contest and has been accepted! After the contest closes for entries on the night of August 22, it will be up for user voting from August 23 - August 25. Winners will be announced soon after judging closes on August 30. Good luck, Instructables Robot

Because that message is automatically generated when you hit the submit-to-contest button. The I'ble itself is then reviewed by the human moderator of the contest to determine whether or not it meets the contest criteria. Since yours does not, it was rejected.

Yes, and you managed to slip it past one person, but there's more then one person that looks over a contest. The person moderating a contest gets the last say. In this case, your submission was entered into the contest, but was later seen and rejected by the moderator. Occasionally things slip through the cracks, which is why there's several people here always looking at things.

If you feel you're being unfairly kept out of this contest, email info at instructables dot com.

I checked your user page, and none of the instructables you have published deal with things being on sticks.

Did you accidentally unpublish the instructable your talking about? If you one of the currently published things snuck in, the person in charge of the contest probably saw that it didn't adhere to the contest rules and took it out.

Please let me know which instructable you're having issues with specifically and I'll look into it a little more deeply, thanks!
