iOS controlled arduino guitar pedal Answered

Hi everyone !

I was looking to make an iOS controlled guitar pedal (using and arduino uno !).
First a very simple one, like an overdrive or a distortion, and later something more complex ! Who could help me ? I managed to create the overdrive with this instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/Overdrive-Pedal/ and the distortion with this one https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-easy-guitar-distortion-pedal-STEP-BY-STEP/?ALLSTEPS.

I don't know how to use one of those pedals and to connect it to an arduino uno and then to be able to change the settings (like being able to change what we can change with the buttons of the pedal) with a very simple iphone app (through wifi or bluetooth, probably with an arduino shield)

If anyone could give me a lead ...

Thanks for taking the time to read me and for your help !

Merry Christmas !

Going full MIDI on this might be overkill but you can use an arduino to control a relay and a digital potentiometer( https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10613 ). Those components can be used for the on/off switches and potentiometers on your effects pedals. And once you got that going, move on up to configure the bluetooth/wifi module to work with an app, which you might have to code if you don't have one. Good luck.
