How about showing the first time users step by step instructions and some hints on the procedure to submitting a project to "instructables"?

There is an instructable made by the head guy that has a lot of points.

https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-share-your-project-on-Instructables/

You can find him ant the top of the list as well as all the rest of the crew here.

https://www.instructables.com/about/

Finally there is a lot of info in the forums. Click on the first tab and just wander through them. Lots of discussions and help there. I tend to get lost in there for hours so I sometimes avoid it. Instructables Overload !!

Remember, anything you put up is not set in stone. You can change it to make it better, bigger, smaller, more current, whatever at any time. The hardest part is pushing that submit button for the first time. Just go for it.

Ahh Yes. Now that I have had more time to look around the site I can see this.
I am new to all this stuff about publishing my ideas on the internet for others to see but I will eventually get the hang of it.
Thanks to all you people who want to help others

You should also credit Vyger with "best answer". It also marks this question as "answered" on the main page. (Too often people are forgetting to do this). :)

No problem. :D It also makes it easier for those of us who do help, because we can see which questions have been answered.
