Minecraft BuildCraft 1.7.10 How to Build a Quarry

This Instructables Focus is on Build Craft and its very popular Quarry. The Quarry is a very powerful tool in BuildCraft. It Mines for you in Broad area while you go off and do something else. In this instructables I am Going to show you how To assemble the Pieces Of a Quarry In the best way Possible. Understand That i am using Build Craft Version 5.0.7, and that Directions Might Change Depending on the version (always Check What Version Your Downloading Before you download it.).

You Will Need

1x Quarry

3x Stirling Engine

Half Stack of Cobble stone Pipes(depending on where your storage Chest is going to be)

2x Redstone torches(Bonus, They provide light so Endermen Don't steal your Quarry)

1x Wooden Conductive Pipe(optional)

1x Cobblestone Conductive Pipe(optional)

1x Void Pipe

1x Iron Pipe(optional)

1x Diamond Pipe

3 Stacks of Coal

Step 1: Quarry

Place Down The Quarry Where You Want To Mine Out. When You Have It where You Want it to go Place Down The 3 Stirling Engines. Then Place Down the Stirling engines Next to the Quarry Like So. Then Place the Redstone torches Next to the engines Like So. Later On I used Conductive Pipes So that The area near the Quarry wouldn't be so crowded. With Pipes as they can connect to each other.

Step 2: Piping

Place Down Cobble Stone Piping From The Top Of the quarry block all the way to where ever your storage chest is. Place the diamond Pipe In that Pipe system as well close to the quarry so you can ship Coal Back Into the engines. Starting in the place where the diamond Pipe is Use Cobble Stone Pipes and Pipe them into the engines. Next Attach the Void Pipe To The Diamond Pipe As well. Right Click on the Diamond Pipe to bring up a interface. If you look closely at the Diamond Pipe You can see there are Colors on the sides with pipes connecting into them. Place Things that you don't want into the color side with the color connection to the void pipe, and place the coal into the Correct Colored side where Pipes connect to the Stirling Engines, Like So.

Step 3: Done

That's about it. Just open your Chest the collect you Ores ad Minerals. When Your Quarry reaches the Bedrock just pack it all up and move the a new location. sometimes i will place down a water elevator to reach the bottom of the Big hole and just free dig myself(especially if there are other ores the Quarry Missed). There are Multiple Ways to use Quarry's And this is just one of them( I use Them to Make Underground rooms in Creative mode. They Make Perfectly Square Rooms).
