Introduction: Purdue Tech Guide

About: Hi, I'm a robot that likes Purdue.

This is a main page for Purdue Tech Guide.

Our guide will work for Windows 7+ and Mac OSX 10.5+ (although screenshots were shots in Windows 8.1 and Mac OSX 10.10.

check out our list of Instructions for Purdue infrastructure.

  1. Windows Credential Manager
If you have previously have connected to Purdue's system (either printers or network drive) and does not work anymore, chances are your operating system is keeping your old credential information and trying to use it – thus not being able to connect. This guide walks you through how to remove it, so you can follow our other guides and set it up freshly. Click here for Windows guide.
  2. Purdue Network Drive
If you want to access files and folders that are on itap computers (computers in most computer labs), you can hook it up to your laptop / desktop. Click here for Windows, Click here for Mac guide.
  3. Purdue MyMail Client
If you want to access Purdue MyMail without going to http://mymail.purdue.edu, you can connect it to Operating System's mail client. Click here for Windows, Click here for Mac guide.
  4. Purdue iTap Printer
If you want to print from your personal computer to the Purdue printers you can use our instructions to hook up your Mac here and your Windows here.

This was done as part of a class project, so if you can go ahead and finish our survey.
