It's disgusting how you just can set your toothbrush on the counter of your bathroom and germs just cover it. I mean cover it.! And then your putting it in your mouth again after you brushed your teeth the last time. Well Im gonna show you a solution to this where you don't have to risk getting sick every time you brush your teeth. It is a toothbrush and toothpaste holder. Using some cardboard and scissors you will have a stylish holder for your family's toothbrushes and toothpaste in no time!

Step 1: Materials and Tools Needed

You will need a few inexpensive things to make this handy project.

Materials and supplies:

Silver spray paint

Cardboard

Tools:

Scissors

clear tape

Great, now we are ready to get started!

Step 2: Cut Out the Cardboard

Now it's time to get out your cardboard and scissors! First cut out a few 3 inch by three inch squares then cut out a lot of 1inch by 4 inch rectangles.

Once you get these cut out continue on to the next step!

Step 3: Tape the Bottom of Your Holder Together As Shown

This part is a little tricky to explain. So there is a picture below. Take a look at the picture and see and build what is in the picture. Then make sure you can fold up the sides so that it begins to look like an empty square without a top.

Well now it's time to add a top! Take another square that you cut out and tape it to the top of your box.

Step 4: Add Holes in the Top Square

Punch holes big enough for a toothbrush to fit in at the top square of your box/ holder.
Now tape together two of the cardboard rectangles to form a plus sign. Tape or glue this on it's side at the bottom of the holder so that the toothbrushes will stay in those slots.

Step 5: Spray Paint It

Now it's time to spray paint it. I used a metalic silver but you can use whatever color you want. If you use silver it makes it so it looks fresh from the store.
