LG G3 and Arduino ADK no longer working? Answered

So I have the LG G3 with Android 5.0. I have tried hooking it up to the ADK while running the ADK off of USB and it detected it and started charging the phone fine, also used external power source and it also charged fine. I tried using an application called Handbag which detected the ADK but crashed after it detected the ADK. After crashing about 3 times my android no longer detects the ADK and now says that it can not charge with this device on USB and on external. My external power supply is 12V 1A. Is there maybe something I did wrong here? Any help would be honestly nice at this point...

You do realise USB charges with 5V and not 12V?

The external power source to power the arduino ADK is 12V 1A.

OK, so you saying you tried to charge the phone through the Arduino USB port?
Sorry but I can't really follow...

Yes, and it was working and then stopped working after messing around with the "Handbag" app on the Android.

You either fried a USB port, messed the settings up or simply caused a hardware fault.
I would first try a factory reset on the phone and check the USB and chargin stuff on a laptop / PC.
After checking the Arduino connections and if in doubt flash a new bootloader.

Sounds like "messing" changed the software control of the Arduino USB port.

Try reset, reload, remember and reverse what you messed up...
