Puff pastry prebaked. Answered

I want to bake a quich and have purchase a puff pastry pie shell. Need I prebake the shell, in order to guarantee a crispy bottom part of the crust??? - bri <3

Yes, I would blind-bake it first, with weights. Otherwise it will shrink.

I'm still not sure, but this first time I will bake first. I imagine at 350 for 10 to 15 min. Does one have to weight it, or just pick holes in it? - bri <3

I know you have to weight short-crust pastry, but I don't know about puff.
