Yes, it is possible to have multiple mice connected to your computer and use them all at the same time. However, they all control the same pointer. You don't get x mouse pointers for all your different mice. If you have a laptop with a trackpad and external USB mouse, you already have 2 mice connected to your computer and it has been working since Window 95 and possibly even earlier (I have a really old Satellite laptop running Win95 with pointing stick and PS/2 mouse)! My laptop currently have 4 mice connected: Track-pad, pointing stick and 2 external USB mice.

Hope this answered your question!

Try it and tell us what happened.

I've certainly had multiple pointing devices plugged in at the same time without complaints. Admittedly going through different drivers, but still... As others have said, you shouldn't do any harm by trying it.

I've had a USB mouse and a wireless mouse running at the same time without problem but that was on an Ubuntu OS. I'd say give it try, it can't do any harm that I am aware of.

. Try it and see. Worst it can do is hang up your computer (it shouldn't, but be prepared, just in case. eg, close all files and apps) and a reboot will fix that.
