Introduction: Swinging Granny

About: I have been crafting as long as I can remember. I love sewing the most, but also love jewelry making, baking, painting and any kind of papercraft. I like to collect things I find on the beach and last but not …
I found some miniature people at a fleamarket and the image of them sitting in swings popped up immediately.
So I built some swings.

Step 1: What You Need

- a miniature figurine, I highly recommend good quality with detailed features. They are well worth their price.
- earring hook
- eye pin findings
- wooden coffee stirrer
- E 6000 (not in the picture)
- Dremel
- x-acto knife
- nail file

Step 2: Prepare the Swingseat

Mark the hole positions and drill the holes. I so love my mini bench vise, it was not at all expensive and I have used it for various projects. Then cut of the seat bit and file it a little at the corners.

Step 3: Prepare the Earring

Open the jump ring and connect the eyepin findings and the earhook.
Thread through the mini bench.
Bend the eyepin finding under the bench. Secure with a generous amount of glue.
LET DRY!

Step 4: Seat Granny

Seat your miniperson in a drop of glue and again: Let dry!
And then enjoy the compliments you'll get!
