PSP Umd transfer: POSSIBLE?!?!?

I had this great idea for transfering UMDs to a PSP Go. If you have custom firmware on your PSP you can download UMDs to a memory stick, and from there put them on the computer, right? Starting to make sense? Maybe you could then download the game to a PSP Go!! I'm not sure if its possible, though. Does someone have any idea if it could work?

Making PSP UMD adapter to USB for tablet or phone.

Does any one know how to connect the ribbon cable on a PSP UMD drive to a USB devise? It would be cool to be able to watch my UMD movies on my tablet. Space is cramped living in an RV. Be great for power outages.  What I'm talking about is taking a replacement UMD drive and connecting it to a USB docking station. Then plug it into a tablet or smart phone. Use zoom to view movies at full screen. Games would become pixelated.

how can I make a link from my computer to my psp through the internet? Answered

I'm currently in the process of dumping my umds onto my computer. the umds are kinda big (too big to put all of them on my memory stick), so I was wondering if there was a way to make a link from my computer to my psp so that I can get to my computer and download any of my games through the wifi and play it without having to have the umd. I'm running 5.00 m33-6. NOTE: I'm not doing anything illegal. I'm using MY umds on MY computer and MY psp. I'm not ripping anyone else's umds, and I'm not giving away the files/umds after I'm done with them.

Witnessing Human Flight

First posted here. Last Friday, I drove up to Maryland to see UMD's Gamera II human-powered quadrotor. They are currently pursuing the Sikorsky Prize, established in 1980. Here's the team testing a new control system. http://youtu.be/3B2of4V35d0 (sorry, the embed function isn't working)   During this test, Gamera II flew for approximately 65 seconds, unofficially tying the endurance record that the team previously set. This flight time, plus the ability to remain within a specific boundary, satisfies two requirements of the Sikorsky Prize. Because the rotors are so close to the ground, the helicopter is benefiting from a cushioning effect of the air between the rotor blades and the ground. This effect will diminish exponentially when the team attempts sustained flight at the required 3 meters. The helicopter transfers the pilot's pedal power by unspooling cable from pulleys, mounted on the shafts of each of the four rotors. Flight time is limited by the pilot's stamina and the amount of cable stored in each pulley. The rotors are constructed of carbon fiber, balsa, and foam, and are covered in a plastic film.  All in all, it was a cool experience. I've never seen so much carbon fiber in my life! I look forward to seeing the team win the Prize.
