Theoretically yes.
Practically you'd probably use very-expensive high-powered lasers or something like...

With enough heat and pressure, yes.

AFAIK it doesn't melt, in the absence of oxygen, it sublimes.

Doesn't this depend on the pressure? If you were sufficiently determined you could probably melt it in some kind of high pressure high temperature press.

I think it must be possible in the conditions inside the earth because they were formed from molten rock in the first place.

At a rough guess (and a quick poke with a Well Known search Engine)  I'd say 3550 degrees celcius.
