Why don't you Bluetooth to your computer there are lots of Arduino and Bluetooth Instructables.

Then you can phone your computer or just control your robot via the internet.

1. How much do you already know?

2. The search function works really well here - try following a few projects in the related column on the right.

3. I think it unlikely anyone here has the time to lay out the complete project for you. you can ask specific questions when you have done some research and planning for your self.

Ok we know it isn't impossible BUT Your going to have a huge uphill struggle to learn the skills you need.

1. YOU MUST start with simple things to gain knowledge.

2. You MUST read all you can find on what other have done in this area.

3. YOU MUST review the related instructables on the right AND do several searches for related subjects.

THEN come back with specific questions on what you are doing.

To be honest asking a blank question right at the start "how do I do this" ian't going to get you much help. It's too BIG a question to answer in a few words.

Can I do this - probably

Why - because I have designed and built many robots in the past, because I have spent hours playing with micro controllers and the like. because I have read many many on line blogs and projects about robots.

You need to do the same. No FAST answer - Sorry.

1) Why do you want to or need to control your robot through the intermediary phone "an unneeded relay" ?

2) Is it your intention to place the phone as part of your robot ?

3) What programming languages are you proficient in using ?
