WE HAVE INSTALLED A 7 SEGMENT BOARD TO SHOW SOME DATA. BUT IT IS NOT VISIBLE IN SUNLIGHT? PLEASE HELP Answered

7 SEGMENT DIGITAL BOARD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN OUR FACILITY. WE HAVE GIVEN 12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY FOR THESE DIGITS. ITS FACE IS TOWARDS SUNLIGHT. THESE DIGITS ARE NOT VISIBLE DURING DAY LIGHT. PLEASE HELP ME WHAT TO DO

Just put a sun shade over the display or relocate the display so it isn't in direct sun light.

relocate the board so the light does not directly hit the board. Place it on the opposite wall. Or place shades over the windows.

Look up screen glare cover  on Google

There is a red plastic with thousands of imbedded hex bee hive
light guides that shade near direct light and allow visual contrast
for your segments.

When I used them in gaming displays 30 yrs ago they cost under
a dollar for 10 sq inches.

Screening is effective, nut full sun is hard to screen from. What colour LEDs are they ?

Does the thing have a filter over it ?

Maybe you could put your head really close to the display, and use your hands to try to block out the ambient light, and squint your eyes too. Then you might be able to read your display. LEDs really do not work so well in full sunlight. They look great at night though!
