if you want a video instructable does it have to have a URL? Answered

i wanted to make a video instructable but dont know if it needs to have a URL. Any help?

i know but if i download it from my camera can i put it on without a URL

. It will only display inline if it is hosted on one of the services listed at the link I gave, so, yes, you have to have a URL.
. You can upload the video to your library, but I don't think that will allow you to inline it. It will just appear as a link. I could be wrong.
. You can host it on your computer - if you have a server set up with a permanent IP and/or a domain name - but it will not display inline (just a link). And I'm guessing you don't have an accessible server.
. Your best option is to follow the instructions in the previous link.

If the video is uploaded to your image library, it has to be downloaded and played using a player on the viewer's own computer.
