Pronounciation for one of the longest words in the English Language, (Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis) Answered

I found pronounciation for the longest words I've seen.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis:

Peumono = Noo-muh-No
Ultra = Uhl-tra (DUH)
Microscopic - Mahy-kruh-skop-ik (Double DUH)
Silico - Sil-i-koh
Volcano - Vol-key-noh (Triple DUH)
Coniosis - Kon - ee - oh - sis

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a disease you get from inhaling quartz dust.

Thank you. I didn't know the second "o" was pronounced. Now I won't look like a moron next time I say it. (Seriously!)

Your welcome... but I searched "Longest Words" into Wikipedia. I found this (which I've known about for about 3 years) and pasted it onto Dictionary.com. Pronounciation and everything.

Yeah, when I was little (like 8) I learned the word "antidisestablishmentimperialism" but then in 8th grade or so, I learned the meaning of: "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis". I also thought it was "....volcanIcon...". I guess you learn something new every day.

Yes, and no. I googled "antidisestablishmentimperialism", and didn't find it. But years ago I heard it used in a political sense, rather than the religious sense of the word "antidisestablishmentarianism".
