No there is no easy way to make a FLIR camera from a webcam.

If there were then FLIR cameras wouldn't cost $2000.

Only 2000 USD ? Best I've seen on this side of the pond amount to 2500 +

wow, even now many years later, during a big global outbreak of a virus, there is still no such creature. even though you can buy a small point and shoot low resolution flir, camera for about $300 now. and super cheapo ones that plug into phones. but no desktop or webcam, or IPcamera ones???!?

Thanks, I think that is the software that make the differece, cause if you can see IR light, you just need make a scale for the diferent temperatures/brightness on the camera

No, its all to do with the acceptable wavelength of the IR detector,. Software makes ZERO difference.

.  FLIR and night-vision IR use different wavelengths, so, no, you can't make a FLIR cam out of a webcam. :(
