Ipod nano????
My friend bought a ipod nano 2gb recently n i happen to have the same nano bought this july....but problem is his lower/bottom is made of some sort of steel whereas my nano seems to be same from both front and back!!!!
but the main HUGE problem is his max volume level is way higher than mine>>>>
I have tried everything in the pod to match that level=no use
I want to know is there a way that i cud exchange my pod or get it modified to that level

Mmm hmm, those are the correct generations. The 3rd gen is meant to look like that BTW (its not stretched) -josh

Are they both the same generation?
This is a first gen.
This is a second gen.
This is a third gen.

Woot! 3rd generation is awesome. As to your problem, pop by your local Apple store, they will know of an answer.

Man my friend's ipod nano has an aluminium/steel cover at the back part..whereas mine is plane at back similar to front part....so does that mean he has a 2nd gen nano n mine is old!!!! If so, is there any way out for me to get my max vol similar to his?????????

Perhaps an inquiry to Apple would be best.
