More freebies for the Hallowe'en competition Answered

OK, I have plans for the Hallowe'en competition, but not all are going to happen, mainly due to time and other commitments.

These are vague outlines of my ideas. If you want more details, and are ready to try them out, PM me and I will pass details back to you.

1. A ghost costume for a Lego man (low cost and difficulty, I just lack certain tools)

2. An invisible hallowe'en costume (Cost $10-30, much less if you have access to theatrical make-up, I have already sourced all specialist parts - I just lack an appropriate place to wear it)

3. A pumpkin substitute for decorations - low cost, more novelty value than anything.

I reserve the right to refuse to send ideas to members who do not seem to be set on actually making the 'ibles.

a pumpkin substitute for decorations? do you mean like using styrophome instead of pumpkins? or using pumpkins instead of a haunted house? (sorry it was the best i could come up with). ghost lego man... i like that. invisible haloween costume... could be much cheaper if we think of the kings new clothes. im not going to make anything, just commenting that i liked the lego man idea, and to ask about the pumpkin one.

Pumpkins are supposed to be in short supply in the UK this year, thanks to the Summer floods wrecking the harvest. I have come up with what I believe to be a novel way of making artificial pumpkins to replace those that cannot be bought (and are also moisture-free, for those who like to illuminate electrically).

ah ok. i wasnt sure which way you were going. whether to use the pumpkins or replace the pumpkins. yeah im sure the floods did a number. our pumpkins never grew because of the drought, but i dont know about the overall supply around here.
