. If your's uses 3xLR44s, as mine does, then any 4.5V source should work (as long as it will provide enough current). . Three AAs in series should work. Check polarity and then wire one end of the battery pack to the contact on the battery end of the module and the other end of the battery pack to a part of the module that would touch the case when installed.

I have it gutted where its just a button, a tinny circuit, and the modual. Does anybody know to make it work with out using those tiny 3 batteries?

. That should be 3xLR44, ie, three button cells in series

. On the one I have, you unscrew the cap on the laser end, use a big screwdriver to remove the lens, and the guts fall out.
