How do you create an HTML website? Answered

davesite.comdavesite.com is what I used to learn html. I still use it from time to time if I can't remember a tag. He has a phenomenal interactive tutorial. You can also use his site to learn Java and CSS.

Learn html (or copy someone else's), find somewhere to host your content and make a page called index.html and upload it. That will be your front page. From that, you can link to other pages you create.

Many other people use programs like Frontpage and Dreamweaver, but davesite taught me so well that I just type the hypertext from memory.

My website is completely html (it's all I know!). Check out the source code (View > Page Source in your browser) of the pages and you'll see some of what's possible. You can even take parts of my code and mod it if you want.

<html> <head> <title>My Web Page</title> </head> <body> <h1>My Web Page</h1> <p>My stuff...</p> </body></html>
